Jim Jack's Fish & Chips - Dunfermline

We went in here simply because it was the closest chippy to us and all I can say is wow. It was busy with both for takeout and sit in, the staff are friendly and polite. The food we had was superb, in my opinion it is the best place in Dunfermline we will definitely be back here next time we are in Scotland 😀

First time here tonight after reading other reviews and the team here did not disappoint! Love that this is a restaurant as well as a takeaway. Special thanks to Jo who was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome on such a busy night, we were seated and served so quickly. The food was cooked to perfection and you got so much for the price, bread & butter, choice of sides and a drink. We will absolutely be back! Thank you to all the team again at Jim Jack's.🫶🏽

Lovely lunch fish chips mushy peas bread and butter and pot of tea all reasonably priced. A hidden gem next to The Glen. Plenty of parking. Menu first class. Worth a visit.

Maybe it's the fact that I was hungry and had been fancying something battered all day. Maybe it's the disappointment I had when my car had mechanical issues at Knockhill circuit. But, this could be the best fish and chip shop in the world! It's spotlessly clean (in fact the waitresses cleaned the tables twice in the time it took me to polish off my meal), the staff are jolly and helpful and the food was really, really good. Super white fish and a banging batter. Amazing chips. Visit here; you cholesterol may not thank you but your taste buds will.

Everything was fresh, crispy, and full of flavour. The portions were generous and the staff were friendly too. Definitely one of the best fish and chips I’ve had — will be coming back for sure!

This is an excellent fish and chips shop. 5 stars are not enough to reflect the wonderful experience my wife and me had there tonight. The staff are extremely friendly and warmly welcoming. Lots of lovely Scottish humor! The atmosphere is excellent. Many local visitors making contact for a little chat and friendly advice. And on top of it all: the delicious fish and chips. The haddock was so fresh, thought it was still swimming :) The chips very tasty and all fried in extremely fresh oil. It's just a pity I don't live nearby. Otherwise they should expect me in daily.
